About Kutch Handicraft
There are not one or two, but up to 16 different types of embroideries known in Gujarat, each belonging to a different community. All the communities have their own, unique style of embroidery.
In Kutch, there are many communities who belong to handicrafts. People from communities named Jat, Aahir, Rabari, Mutwa, and Harijan are mainly known for Kutchi handicraft work. These communities have their own style of patterns, embroidery, motifs that give them a great look.
